Reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, the Vice President and Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s supply chain organization and capabilities including Supply Planning and Inventory Management, Sourcing and Procurement, Logistics, Packaging Engineering and Labeling, and Technical Operations Business Systems.  We are looking for an experienced leader who will help us build an organization fit-for-growth to successfully deliver life-changing therapies to the patients we serve.


  • Responsible for the strategic development and deployment of Celularity’s supply chain operating model including SC sub-functions and their capabilities.
  • Represents all Supply Chain functions on the Technical Operations Leadership Team
  • Directs and oversees Supply Planning and Inventory Management including supply and operations planning, materials planning and inventory management. Builds a robust S&OP process supporting all modalities at the company.
  • Working closely with cross-functional partners, leads the sourcing and procurement organization with robust sourcing and category management, procurement, and analytics.
  • Builds and deploys a Logistics, Packaging Engineering and Labeling team for clinical / commercial order management, trade compliance, logistics management, clinical and commercial label lifecycle management, and packaging engineering for transportation validation.
  • Working cross-functionally, oversee the development and deployment of Tech Ops Business Systems that will deliver a business systems roadmap (e.g. EBR), support enterprise systems implementation, master data governance and enterprise master data execution.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Process Development, and other key stakeholders to ensure a robust, compliant, and reliable end-to-end supply chain.
  • Drives continuous improvement through effective organizational management, budgeting, reporting, project management and operational excellence within the function.


  • Degree in the biological sciences; PhD or MS preferred.
  • 15 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or biologics supply chain management. Cell Therapy experience preferred.
  • Experience in the areas of manufacturing, quality, supply planning, sourcing and procurement, logistics and Tech Ops business systems is ideal.
  • Experience interacting with health authorities at regulatory meetings and inspections.
  • Working understanding of cGMP, GLP, GCP and GvP compliance requirements associated with US, EU, ICH and other pertinent regulatory agencies.
  • Robust understanding of fundamental quality concepts including aseptic manufacturing, process validation and control and technology transfer.
  • Ability to build and S&OP organization to effectively deliver demand/capacity planning, launch support and long-range planning.
  • High degree of emotional intelligence, strong listening skills and exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
