Celularity is seeking a dynamic individual to join a motivated team of materials management and supply chain professionals. This individual is expected to efficiently plan, organize, and lead the work activities of materials management, warehouse, and shipping and receiving to support the manufacturing of multiple cell and tissue therapy products. Leveraging Celularity’s new, state-of-the-art cGMP capable facility, this position will make use of existing innovations and future technologies to support manufacturing demand.


  • Joining a team of highly qualified materials management professionals, this individual will provide leadership by participating in the management and monitoring of materials handling operations that includes planning of inventory levels and inventory control with focus in material fulfillment and distribution.
  • Work cohesively with cross-functional teams in support of operational efficiency, flexibility, and assurance of material available. Lead process improvements by maintaining open communication with all teams and fostering environment of cooperation in which to achieve shared goals.  
  • Execution of forecast models based on production demand that aligns with company objectives. Management of commercial supply chain logistics and monitoring of raw material supply demand to assess capacity and ensure supply chain stability.
  • Manage all warehouse operations, including but not limited to inventory control, material flow, and shipping and receiving. Analyze and define performance metrics for all warehousing operations and identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Establish standard work measurement for all internal logistics activities that improve personnel planning and resource utilization. Ensure the proper operation and performance of materials management equipment and accurately complete equipment logbooks and associated records.
  • Perform purchasing and procurement functions for the acquisition of raw materials ensuring optimal flow and availability. Maintain forecast models by reviewing historical raw material trends and predict demand to maximize supply chain efficiency. Reconcile monthly inventory of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging components.


Minimum Qualifications (Must have)


  • Associate degree in applied science.
  • 5+ years relevant experience in shipping and receiving, inventory management, and ERP system.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with a positive attitude that is willing to assist other areas of the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong focus and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform frequent physical tasks with strength and mobility. Daily tasks call for routine walking and standing and occasional lifting of heavy materials.
  • Demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and main a strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible scheduling required.


Preferred Qualifications 

  • BA or BS degree in Supply Chain management or Logistics preferred.
  • 6+ years’ relevant experience with materials management and/or supply chain within cGMP operations.
  • Understanding of federal regulations for Quality Systems (21CFR820) and GMP manufacturing (21CFR 210,211).
  • 3+ years of proven experience of managing materials under cGMP and USP guidelines.
  • Knowledge of GxP regulations (cGTP, cGDP, cGMP).
  • Experience in a fast-paced, scientific start-up environment.
  • Dynamic individual with the ability to communicate and engage others.
  • Independent and self-starting.
  • Eager and adaptable
